Break the ice, free! Test Pathways ways.

Those are the goals for the new Icebreaker. Tell a story about yourself, I would say.
Clear beginning and end, and learn it rehearse it well.
Are you interested?
You can already have a "taste of the new Icebreaker"
Of course! This one is the gift from Toastmasters to all of you!
Go to Toastmasters International web site, Education, Pathways and all the way down the page.
They are offering a free Taste of the new program: you can taste it go through it now, and even if you are not yet a Toastmaster!

Those are the things that you may learn from it.

all of that from the Icebreaker, read, listened, created, rehearsed, delivered then analysed !
We are told before of course the different ways of prepare in a way that we can still be authentic at the delivery. It is not easy from the beginning to understand our best skills not even to understand which one we want to develop from now on. For me my skills are great contact with the audience: of course as I love them, and willingness to open up. My goals are less clear... so many points to improve!

Go and try! And do not think the old ways are forgotten. At the end of every evaluation sheet, these feedback are on from the beginning already:
Not only your gestures and vocal variety, clarity and eye contact, but also:
audience awareness and interesting content!

So all along each speech, you are assessed also for how you did for all these points, not only with a number that along the month hopefully grows, but also comments that could help with specific suggestions. In the first page of feedback there are always a few paragraphs, explaining your specific task as you go along, but the two that come after are this one and then explaining what each means.

And read the post tomorrow when I will explain the 5 levels of my first chosen path.

Still hesitating? It is free to test! Go for it. Copy the link below in your navigator. Or go to toastmasters.org Chose Education then Pathways and go all the way down till you find Try Icebreaker.
