End of old, new remains only

Not only end of year today, last day of June, but also end of the so called Traditional Education that out it next.in fact lasted about ten years only. Before, there was no Leadership track & manual. Before that the Competent Communication had 15 projects. Before that it was called Basic Training, with 12.

I am not sure, from where Mathew found this, but it speaks for itself if we look well.

The IP got somewhat programmed into the assessment and more then normal were recommended to do this path that finished well it's a required HPL project. That is why, from almost 12.000 who begin, less then 1300 finish. Almost only 5-6%.
N comparaison, PM, DL begun by 7000 800 finished, 11% indeed.

VC, LD, MS, EH, is also more then 11% finishes, and I hope the number will grow.

There are exceptions, probably the EC is chosen by Those already liking to coach.

Many new features were added last year and half to the Pathways interface, and soon I will have to show a list. Most important is that I did not realise, all do not know yet that projects can be done now, when needed, also out of order. More aboutside it next.

Level recognition w

This is the first time i have seen a Level award and how it looks.

It can be changed when we get other levels done. It happens rather fast in pathways.

Minela Angelica Loga didEarn it and  buy This. Congratulations! And thanks for showing it to us.

Printed projects/ levels

I have "revitalised" my Presentation Mastery Print, from Archieved to Active. After so many months, I decided to finish it. The two firsts levels were done, and I got angry as I received the Level 3, not edited for Printed matter. But I got the path, why let it lie? Why not use it? So far, I did complete the two Deliver Social Speeches. As I can not see what is in them, I go and read the projects from my other, web based paths.

From FAQ inside Tutorials and Resources, in Basecamp.

I am completing my path in printed materials. Who approves my Pathways education?

Your vice president education is responsible for approving your education whether you are working in printed materials or on Base Camp.

When you are completing your path in printed materials, your vice president education can track and validate your project and level completions on Base Camp.

Be sure to communicate with him or her each time you complete a project and again when you complete each level. When requesting level completion, let your vice president education know if you would like a printed copy of your certificate. He or she will be able to access your certificate of completion, which can be emailed to you or printed. If you do not have a vice president education, communicate with your president or secretary.

Can I change my home club after I submit a level completion request?

As a best practice, it is not recommended that you change your home club while you have a pending request. Doing so may make it difficult for you and your Base Camp managers to determine who is responsible for approving the request.

You will receive an email after your home club VPE or other Base Camp manager approves your level completion request. When you are sure your request has been approved, you may change your home club from your Toastmasters Profile page.

I submitted a level completion request that has not been approved. What should I do?

When you submit a level completion request or a request to complete an assignment outside of your club, an email is automatically sent to the address on file for your club. Your vice president education is responsible for monitoring and approving pending Base Camp requests.

If your request is not approved within five days, communicate with your vice president education. If you do not have a vice president education, or if this officer is absent and unable to submit verifications and approvals, communicate with your president and then your secretary.

With Allison Opening first Project

Navigating with tabs and windows is not so easy and inside a Project either.
Step by step, it has to be understood, learned and then repeated.

Happily, it does not vary from project to project.

How to open, how to advance, how to go back to the previous TAB: even understanding what is a TAB and where we find it. How to make a window smaller, "as if it was a picture". What seemed evident to me, now I understand, is not evident for all. That is normal.

Origin of Witty Storytellers Online: an online interview

4 years ago, this time, June 2016, an online toastmasters club interview, one member, Svetlana was interviewing me for her project.

She send me all the questions, but the last one which she said will be a surprise question.

From my answer to that last question, a new online club was born, originated. Witty Storytellers Online, even if it did not have the name at that time yet.

Ongoing storytelling events... we decided Twice a Month.

Interviewed by Svetlana Rakhimova 4 years ago at the club Firebirds Collective, the first Advanced Online Toastmasters club chartered, : just come in my Facebook memories. Photo by Habib.

That last question and our mutual understanding was the WSO creation beginning.
-----------
"Last Sunday 19 June 2016, we started the online humorous workshop "Dig Deeper and Dig Deeper" with the introduction where I interviewed Julie Kertesz.

Julie is a Keynote Speaker - Never too late; DTM; REP (Revitalised Education Programme) Ambassador; Personal motivational storyteller, Workshops organiser, Blogger, Photographer - collection on Flickr "Julie70" past 10 million hits, a scientist holding a PhD in Chemistry, a writer - I haven't yet finished reading your Diaries in French "My life from 7 to 70" - and a Standup Comedian from 10 up! You made audiences laugh in more than 77 clubs.

Julie, You've got a legendary photo on your blog where you are about 5 years old entitled "Julie Standing Up" - where a little girl is standing on a box and is ready to perform. Quite a few comments under the photo say that you haven't changed. When I look at this photo, I think, childhood is the time of innocence and pure genius. It is also like a country of its own. I want to say, been there, done that. I was like that in my childhood too. And now is a wonderful opportunity for me to ask you this question:

Q. If there is anything that hasn't changed in you - what is it?

A. Well, from 7 to 75 I was convinced I was not funny!
Now, I learned that we all have funny bones, even me.
But we have to cultivate it, learn the tricks of trade, and practice.

Q. We all know that laughing is good for us. When I googled "laughing is a good medicine", I retrieved about 8,600,000 results (0.59 seconds)

Do you laugh a lot? What laugh has done to you? Can anyone be a comedian? Should everyone try it at some point?

A. I laughed a lot when I got in love, when I laughed with ... someone.
I love making laugh, not easy to understand humour in English fast spoken.
Laugh sometimes when I read a book a lot about something
Yes, anyone can be a comedian, yes.
That is a very important question.
If I could be, for sure anyone else too - but do not wait 70 years to begin.
Learn, study, then create some lines, try them out: each of us learn by trial and error (taking out what does not make others laugh) and then practice.

Q. You mentioned love and laugh in the same context. Tell us more. What do humour and love have in common?

Q. They say that humour is a good icebreaker. Is there a way of turning an awkward situation into a funny one?

A. my father was a businessman and told me he often defused anger in international meetings with a humorous story or a joke. plus, humour opens the heart the soul and then the story the point we want to makes finds already open doors

Q. Is there anything that laugh is not good for?
A. no idea!!! good for health too but mostly for us to "open door" towards the audience

Q. What are your plans for future?
A. I would like to set up the first online specialty club devoted to humour and personal storytelling.

Svetlana: I will join it!!! 😊"

--- That IS how Witty Storytelling Online club got its origin. ---

Hurrah! Fillable Evaluation in Projects!

After three years of absence, finally it is back: even inside the projects the evaluation forms are fillable, as before there were only from the Tutorials and Resources.

Not totally the TMI fault, as three years ago, suddenly, Adobe decided not to give away any more its free Adobe Reader to fill forms.

When it happened, I first signaled those responsable up in TMI hierarchy; they did not beieved me first, then, I got a letter to mind my problems. Finally, me and my pals, found different ways to get arround it for online clubs, as they could not use printed paper.

Later, the FFF evaluations were available, just alas not from inside a Project.

Now, they are again!

Hurrah!

I filled in my name and date and the title for tonight meeting and saved it on my computer.

A year ago: Enter Pathways through Profile

The 16 June 2019 the new feature appeared, along the old one: how to enter differently Basecamp. Entering, through our Profile, through: Welcome Julie! for me. Clicking on this you can read the article (post) I written then.

Of course, as we entered to "Educational Transcript" meaning our Paths, what we found was different on what we find today, as a few days ago we got a new Basecamp page, about which I written too. Eventually, they all lead to Active Paths ( called also alas Curriculum). This arrived already a year ago, and I found out in the Pathways discussion forum, not everyone uses or know it yet.

From the Profile (... in iphone) we can also get of course, our Educational Awards, Offices held, and much more, when we need them. The picture above, created today from my iPad.

This is the new view we get, and in order to get to our paths (Educational Transcript now, in parenthesis) we click on Paths...

This morning early, those were my options, three paths open (Active) to use for me. But then I went to the tutorials, and looked at a video about how to take a Path from Archived to Active. Why not? I needed again level 3 projects!

Let me take back and finish my abandoned Presentation Mastery by manual, I decided. I can always look at my web based path's electives, and read what is required.

As I do not succeeded adding the picture, showing how to add, let just say, I have to go to Archived, then select Curriculum and the one I want to transfer to Activate. On upper right there is an Activate button, as showed by FAQ. I did it. Now, I got also the PM manual path between my active paths. Of course, I can also open my electives from any of my web based paths, either Active or Completed, and lookup read, study online what is needed.
I did add it nw. Persistence pays.

The question before me now is only if I will redo without marking my first two levels, or I will begin at Level 3 where I stopped.

Before you choose your path...

—- moved from December 2017 to July 2019

Welcome to the Pathways community!

As member of a few Global Online Toastmasters clubs, I realise that this day begun long ago in New Zealand, Australia. For them, the doors opened already hours ago. It is only 10 in the morning in London, but afternoon East of us. As for USA, still very early in the morning or still the middle of night in the West Coast.

Now, those in two new regions can go to the Toastmasters International web site, Toastmasters.org, and from there directly access through the Pathways tab. The question would come as soon as you are offered a free path, as a member of a club or two if you are member of two or more clubs.
"Between path, which I do chose?"
This morning, I went back to the Paths and Projects Resource and looked it over. In the first two level, there is not major or important differences between the Paths. Level 3,4 and 5 each path has specific Required Projects, different from Path to Path, and many yummy Elective Projects, same for all paths.

We can choose from the Electives, a minimum 2 in Level 3, and 1 each minimum for Level 4 and Level 5. But having Web based Paths, we are be able to access, save, print, all the 27 Elective Projects, same in every path.

Unless you chose Printed Material, then no choice then; in that case from 27 you get 4 already chosen for you by TMI. That is why so few do Printed Material!

It is good at this stage to reflect where each path leads us.
The big differences in Paths are in 3 Required Projects.

Leadership Development - my preferred path so far
  • L3 Plan and Implement a special meeting
  • L4 Lead your Team (to a meeting)
  • L5 Manage successful events (a bigger event)
Motivational Strategies - not yet finished as I do all electives in it
  • L3 Understanding Emotional Intelligence (understand better yourself)
  • L4 Motivate others
  • L5 Team building through a successful event
Presentation Mastery - done
  • L3 Persuasive Speaking
  • L4 Managing Difficult Audience (organized interruptions)
  • L5 Prepare Speak Professionally (Keynote like longer speech)
Engaging Humor - at level 5 now
  • L2 Find your sense of humor
  • L3 Engage your audience with humor
  • L4 Table topics told with humor
  • L5 Prepare a longer speech with humor
Visionary Communication - my first path I learned a lot from it
  • L3 Develop a Communication Plan
  • L4 Communicate Change
  • L5 Develop you Vision (professional or personal)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dynamic Leadership - great path but takes longer time
  • L3 Negotiation the best outcome
  • L4 Managing change (Very well explained)
  • L5 Lead in any situation - 6 month leading & feedback from peers
Strategic Relationship - Just finished Level 4
  • L3 Make connection through Networking
  • L4 Public relation strategies
  • L5 Leading in your Volunteer Organization, minimum 6 month
Team Collaboration - Lots of team work in it, finished
  • L3 Successful Collaboration
  • L4 Motivate Others
  • L5 Lead in any situation - 6 month leading and feedback
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Effective Coaching - finished, not my prefered
  • L3 Reaching Consensus
  • L4 Positive Coaching (at least 3 times coach someone)
  • L5 High Performance Leadership (With 360° evaluation at end)
Innovative Planning - on level 4
  • L3 Present a Proposal
  • L4 Manage Project successfully
  • L5 High Performance Leadership (With 360° evaluation at end)
Persuasive Influence - not tried, perhaps longest
  • L3 Understanding Conflict Resolution
  • L4 Leading in any situation
  • L5 High Performance Leadership (With 360° evaluation at end)
In these last three path High Performance Leadership project is a Required project. In the paths when HPL is not required, it is still present as one of the Electives, as an option that can be chosen. It is almost the same as the HPL we did know till now but with a 360° six pages feedback to fill at least from one in the committee and one in the team members about you. Of course, this project also requires a lot of time and commitment.

"Leading in any situation" project is in two path at level 5 and once in level 4.  The "volunteer organisation" used for the six month can be Toastmasters or any other organization, if possible volunteer. Remember: as we go up the levels, the projects take more and more time.

Which is my preferred Level?

I could say the Level 1 where I started the love affair between me and Pathways projects: I understood better the Toastmasters Fundamentals. April 2017 I started my Experiental Research and Transition to Pathways. Never looked back!

And when I arrived at Level 3 with all those projects to discover I was totally won over! From 13 possible Projects to use, I opened 10, saved and printed most of them. Just in case...

Level 4 :MS

Sometimes, words can hurt. "You look only for your advancement" and "don't look for the club members" told me recently one of my five club's VPE. In my opinion, without looking to discover what and how I did. "That is why I did not approve your level 4. Buț the president did".

Yes, I did offer level 4 of my MS path to that club, and got the award in that club.

Motivational Strategies path is the path where I decided to do all, or most of the electives. Plus speak of photography or at least, show a photo at each project.

As you may see, I did ALL Level 3 Projects, and now I can speak about them if needed. It was not only to discover and learn, also to be able to share what I learned.

Then, I got to Level 4 and it took me a long time to discover, how I may share my podcasts, before deciding, I will put that project aside, come back later. There were so many wonderful podcasters!

I did take one to one all the other Level 4 electives and went through them.

Done them. Read, discovered, done the tasks, spoke as needed A-T The end.

All but the podcast, the one still waiting for other time, other occasion. Perhaps, a day, its time will come also.

Now, I can help anyone, can tell all who needs also about the Level 4 Electives: gone through them all.

As normal, some I love, some less, but all done.
As you see, there are many of those too.

Most Level 4 electives take longer, others just a meeting, but even those has to be prepared carefully.

Many of them, I really like a lot, and yes, did them already more then once.

Managing a difficult audience, that interrupts you had been very useful to me, when at this summer's family gathering a younger women suddenly stood up, and tried to tell something as I hold a microphone and begin to speak about how our common ancestor survived.

It was no more a fun in the meeting, but real life, and I handled it really well. Most of the Level 4 projects are really useful in todays life.

Question and Answers session, Manage Online Meetings, were usual for me. All have to learn how to.

Write a compelling blog, well, I asked someone who did not do it yet, to read my posts for a month and give me a feedback. In two different clubs, I spoke about my Public Relation Strategies.

Manage Projects Successfully was the most difficult for me, as again asked for a TEAM.

I had already other teams to work with or for, in other paths at the same time.

Only then did I go back to the Required project "Motivate others", because I knew, when I finish it, it will show my Level 4 finished too, with 7 Projects instead of only One, minimum.

Again, a team.

Not easy, I tried. Perhaps, not as well as I had my fill of Teams and Projects.

In all, I still felt that I did a good job, and yes, aside of my curiosity to discover Projects, to learn, I was also ready and still am ready to speak about all the projects - all the Level 3 and Level 4 Electives that are in almost all Paths anyone takes on.

I do believe, "personal advancement" does not clash with club members need, with the need of those who discover or want to know about pathways. Even now, that all can read all projects, personal experience is useful, personal point of view.

I feel that I did earn my Level 4 award of Motivational Strategy.

Level 3 : lots of Projects to choose from

-- How many Projects in a Path? That was the original title in 2018. --

How many can be read, saved, printed? Used to speak, to do or get inspired from? Helps us improve our knowledge? Hone our skills? Reflect?

In any path we work at 14 Projects and a minimum 15 speeches going after them. Well a minimum. Fifteen is the number we usually remember.
Ribbons from TMI for Level Achievements L1 to L4 colourful

3 Required Projects, always the same at any path, at Level 1 it begins with an Icebreaker (so many things to tell about us) and the basics (in all 5 tasks), 3 Required Project at level 2 from which sometimes 1 is different, and a "minimum 3" at level 3. Level 4 only 2 Projects but Required and Elective longer one, skills are not learned in a day, and at level 5 there is a Required project specific to the path, an Elective at minimum and in all path Reflection about the Path closes the Path.
The levels in every path and the minimum requirements to pass to another level

What does in mean "minimum"?

From level 3 we get on each Level one "required" Project, very specific to the Path.
And near it a lot of projects from which we can choose. 2 electives at "minimum" at level three and one each at the next two levels. From how many "electives" can we choose a minimum of 4 to go through the path? From 27 different one projects!

Of course, in order to decide which one we would take on we can Activate, Launch any of them or all of them. Once launched, read, study, save or print any of them, even those we finally decide "this for another time."

As I just arrived at Level 3 I can show you how my level 3 Electives look, they are same in each path. They differ only if one of them was used in Level 2 of course no more in.
Difference between Activate (not yet opened) and Launch (opened already) Between those I already opened the Using Presentation Software, but this time I am decided to open all of them.

The continuation of all the yummy Level 3 electives. I still remember the huge joy when I arrived here in my first path, Visionary Communication. Suddenly, I could Activate, Launch any of them! From these, I already activated Understanding Voice Variety, because yesterday I was given a feedback that I could improve in that. Indeed. Beside, it is a great project.

Those two would be my "minimum" Level 3 elective projects. If I did not decide, that this time I try to do them all. Indeed, I will get "awarded" only from the minimum two but we can open (Activate, Launch) all, one after the other. Save, study, and even print them - if I have still enough ink in my printer. I will put all these projects in "Level 3 bonbons" folder on my computer and somewhere in the cloud where I will find them even if my computer crashes. Being able to have all of them on my fingertips, now and from now on, is wonderful!

Will I really speak from each of them? I hope, that I will be able to have the patience for all of them, even if some interest me more then the others. I will also be able to speak about them from then on. I did already 8 of them on other paths, but some I love so much that I will do again for sure. The others could also offer some interest, I can not know till I do not open and study them.

It will take time, sure. So what? After having finished 4 path, I am not in a hurry!

How I will associate all of them with a picture? I will see when the project arrives. I got a lot of interesting pictures of my own and access to other's. That is part of my decision for Motivation Strategies path I am working on now, that will be my 6th. My 5th path I am already in the last level, and a Panel discussion is programmed for end of June, which is one of the Choice for Electives.

To the question "how many projects in a path"? we can answer 15 or we can say 36! A lot of material available for us in a path!

Level 2

What about Level 2 ? I was asked Thursday during my 14th Virtual Support Session.
--- from 21 July 2018 ---

"Level 2 is almost the same in all path" - because the difference, sometimes, one project changes, should not make anyone to choose that path. As for me, my first three paths, all contained exactly the same projects at Level 2, and it was only the 4th that finally did offer one different. I welcomed the difference!
  • Understanding your Communication Style (depends with whom)
  • Understanding your Leadership Style (depending on situation is best)
  • Introduction to Mentoring - tell about a time when you were Protégée (mentee)
It was never my favorite level, and it will never be. It took time for me to understand, that it is not to put us in a box, as we are in many boxes at the same time, but to reflect how we (and others) do. Plus, they use trade words instead of usual ones.

The other, very welcome diversions, is when one of the Styles is replaced by:

Motivational strategiesActive Listening
Persuasive InfluenceActive Listening
Team Collaboration: Active Listening
Presentation Mastery: Effective Body Language
Innovating planning: Connect with your audience
Leadership development: Managing time
Strategic Relationship: Cross cultural understanding

All but the last one is present, when not in Level 2, between the Level 3 Electives.

Active Listening: you take the role of Table Topic Master and listen to the answers, not only the words but the voice, body language, intention. Shortly, after each answer tell what you understood they wanted to say. I loved it, those to whom I reflected back loved it too.

Effective Body Language. So much to do and tell. I used it to tell about the listeners, audience body language and made them laugh.

Connect with your audience. I did not do Innovative planning, but did this project in Level 3, it is not so easy as one think to find an unusual topic. I learned to connect with different audiences, but had problem when they were very diverse in knowledge. It is a very worthwhile project, if not really as easy as Body Language.

Managing time, is important and can be very useful in personal life, too. It was in mine. Journaling for at least two weeks to see where we spend our time, then reflecting which activities are worth which steal too much of our time.

The only one I did not try yet is Cross Cultural Understanding which is not between the Electives, but I learned about it a lot in my world wide online club. Very important topic. And important also not to think we are all alike on the surface. Stereotypes and thinking about them is also an interesting topic, but it will not make me take on SR!

In all, it can be three interesting stories we tell, waiting to finally get to level 3 with all it's goodies, electives to choose from. In the meanwhile, I learned to adopt level 2 projects to my taste, personalise them. Tell a story.

Level 1 first experience, with video

- From 10 May 2017 changed to today, 10 Juin 2020 contains video about my first Level 1-

The third and last Project in Level 1 of every path is "Research and Present".

There is a lot to say about the word "Research" but what I did learn through the feedback I got is that different professions and people understand it in very different ways.

In this project, we are asked to research a narrow and specific subject we did not know before, or some specific of a subject we are passionate about and want to deepen our knowledge, then present a speech in serious or humorous or any other style, in an organised manner.

It is asked from us to use different ways to gather information: reading about it from truth worthy sources, interview specialists and so on. One of my evaluators reminded me "using one source is stealing, using ten is research" but mine was not that kind of research. Of course, it is important to tell from where your information comes and learn how to cite the source.

I had difficulty in verbal informal story to "cite" all my resources, also I did speak of some of them.

I am a scientist, with a PhD in Physical sciences, and would not dream to make research without applying and trying out and telling about the experience. I consider gather information only the first step, then try out your hypothesis, publish your results, do something original. That was a must in my profession when I was Research Scientist. And my personality ask for hands-on prove and discovery.

"I did earn my PhD degree, but did I learn from it?" that was how I wanted to begin, but did not as I though it meant boasting about my degrees. What I learned from my research done through four years to obtain a doctorate while working in a Research Institute? I learned that we can find the "new" and publish easier on the threshold between two domains.

What two domains to research? Pathways, of course that I wanted to find out more about. While beginning to speak about Pathways around me, I realised we are in a difficult Transition period. Here is my second domain I was looking for!

Transition and Pathways!
And, the transition in Toastmasters to the Pathways Education System.

I have never done so much reading, studying and researching then for this project, form the time I joined again Toastmasters, in 2009. As you will see later, it was fruitful and I am happy I did and will be able to use what I learned for long time.

Managing Transitions, William Bridges a book to re-read! Same author also Transitions.

There is a page with many videos on TMI web site about Pathways. Then there is a FAQ (frequently asked questions). Also a list of the three pilot districts and the Regions as they will come to get Pathways, one after the other. In plus, there is a the free Icebreaker project for all to try.

The first district pilot was D57 and its Chief Pathways Guide George Marshal. I did succeed to persuade him to give me an online interview: a week later we spoke for 30 minutes with each other from our homes. He even accepted to present at Witty Storytellers Online the 24th May, tell us about his experience and Q/A!

True, in my speech of only 7 minute I forgot to speak about what he told me in his interview, even if I incorporated it differently at the beginning, as those are also linked to different reactions to Transitions.

After having read all I could, I also begun to use and discover my path, as I wrote before, in other notes. For me, as I wrote, no possibility of doing a research without trying to apply it. Perhaps this is my kinaesthetic side, having to experience to fully understand.

Transition? I read again the book called Transition, I already knew 15 years ago from William Bridges, but now understanding more profoundly. So many of my old stories I could now rewrite after I understood the need of the three stages he tells about.

"First comes an END,  grieved as we always loose something, even if we wanted it and even if it did not come upon us. Then comes a neutral transition period when we feel lost, in fog. Uncomfortable, we need to retreat alone, but can spark innovation, understanding.Only after we passed these stages come New Beginnings" Those are just broad outline of the book. Transitions, Bridges wrote first, is mostly about the Internal Transitions, internal changes we face - so many times in our life.

I discovered in 2017, his second book written for leaders, Managing Transition by W. Bridges and S. Bridges. How to help others go through the changes, transitions in organizations. I did buy a copy of it on Kindle and studied it. Yes! This applies even more directly to the Pathways experience. We have to inform, inform and inform! not tell "they will know when times comes" as we want it adapted and grow enthusiasm about it.

--- Very apropos now again! ---

That is when I decided to write this blog: My Pathways experience. Tell stories about it in different ways. So much to tell ! This post is one step forward.

So far I have told twice the story "Pathways and Transition" in my online clubs and thus got through my level 1 in the Visionary Communication path. Here is how I told it the 3 May in Witty Birds online pre charter club. The sound is a bit strange here. But in this speech, my vision was told the first to my online toastmasters pals.

I I am still waiting for a "Paper Award" but I got a badge of Level 1 already. The most important is : I finally got to see Level 2!

PS: I also learned later, you can and have to print your own Level certificate or the VPE prints for you.

Visionary Communication, 3 years ago

Why did I choose Visionary Communication? First time it was April 2007, and I described it HERE one of the first posts of this Https://pathwaysexperience.blogspot.com, that I begun 5 May 2007.

In fact, my first choice was Presentation Mastery, but I did believe, then that I needed it in manual form. As you can read in the "here" link, May arrived and I still did not got any of it. That is why already, early April, I did choose another, web based path, and that was the Visionary Communication.

I learned so much during it!

What I can do, and depend on me, and what I can not do, depending on a big organisation decisions. At that time, I hoped that all Ambassadors and Guides are to be allowed to discover Pathways Education before they have to speak about. That did not happen.

I also did fight, to get fillable Evaluation forms. Went all the way to TMI design team, was listened to, with smile and nod, then got a letter to mind my business.

At the beginning they were fillable, till Adobe did not decide to change and ask money for fillable forms in Adobe Acrobat. From there, to get again fillable forms, it took a lot of time. Meanwhile, I used Preview, free from Apple devices, not too bad but not as elegant as was the Adobe one.

Finally, even if after a loooong time, all of us can get Fillable Evaluation Forms, look for FFF in the Evaluation form name.

So many of what we hoped for, asked for, we got now. But not yet all.

Level 5 again Visionary Communication

I still have to decide if I give a keynote like speech, alone, or organise, moderate a Panel discussion with others. Till now, I was waiting yo find my required Vision speech, woken up and suddenly, it come to me. Of course, it is continuing to be Ambassador of Pathways and explaining the ever changing Basecamp! Continuing, on another level what I begun in fact 5 years ago, and decided as research in my first level of first path, witch was when I got my first VC, in 2017 April.

Exciting days ahead, when a few days ago, I did not see yet anything asking myself "now what"?

Today, I did finish Leading in a voluntary organisation from E. Humor path. Good feedback! Succeeded to tell it like a story.  Jess printed, wrote then printed it again. Here only the first page observations from her. Yes, my slides were there, but did not find them fast enough so showed just the first one, that I did test before meeting.

At the end of meeting, I showed also a picture of our new committee that the future President of Witty Storytellers Online did use immediately.

Just observed top line change!

Paths and Learning also from the top, wherever we are. Of course or alas, still have to click under it, to the gray name, instead of directly on the line. So much details to observe in the new Basecamp desktop that just arrived.

The check for compatibility that was before there, went to the bottom now. Indeed, it was not often used, so no need to be on top. Many small changes also, you could discover trying.

New BaseCamp homepage: Evaluations

Yesterday, I was shocked, as the Evaluation form I downloaded on my IPad, could not be filled. What? What? What?

I come this morning to my portable Mac, downloaded the form from the email, I have send yesterday to myself: YES! it can be easy filled! It does say "print it" but my printer and ink... not possible. Even so, why does not say "print or save?"

I decided, to have more confidence in what they do and have done. Even if do not understand why in one way does not work, finally the most important is that the forms are still fillable. A lot more features to test of course.

Some things are strange. I still have three path Active but in one rectangle two show. All are there when I open through "paths..."

Here, to show you that in my Badges, it does show that I went 12 times through levels in 12 different paths. The level 5 never showed, as instead come directly Proficient and the path name.

It does not mean I did finish all 12 path or even the 11 available as to now, because I begun some twice.
There is still a PI path that has so many project management in it, that I hesitate to undertake. I preferred to tackle a path in French and take again two others that I took three years ago and liked.

I am going nowadays slow. Mostly to help others then to advance projects and paths.
